Perfect for patios, porches, outdoor kitchens, and outdoor living areas, Phantom Screens’ custom-made and professionally installed retractable screens allow you to enjoy the outdoors more by giving you fresh air, shade from the sun, climate control, insect protection, or privacy from neighbors.

AUTOMATION

Phantom Screens can be manually-operated or motorized. With Somfy motorization, Phantom’s Executive patio screens appear at the touch of a button and disappear when you don’t need them. Screens are easily controlled with a wall-mounted or handheld remote, synced with your smart home system, or by smartphone app.

Additionally, optional environmental sensors enable your motorized Phantom Screens to respond to weather conditions. Wind sensors automatically retract your screens into their protective housings during high wind speeds, while sun sensors will lower your screens during peak heat to reduce heat gain and solar glare.

MOUNTING

Phantom Screens can either be surface mounted onto an existing structure or recessed into the walls, columns, and ceiling cavities during the construction of your patio or outdoor living area. Motorized patio screens are typically guided by a weighted slidebar that runs between parallel tracks on each side of your patio’s openings, allowing you enclose your outdoor space on demand.

If there are no posts available to install a track system, Phantom also offers a cable-guided patio screen system. While it will not fully enclose your patio to protect from insects, it still provides exceptional solar protection.

CONTROL YOUR ENVIRONMENT

Choose from Phantom Screen’s extensive line of fabrics, mesh & vinyl that provide insect protection, solar heat control, natural ventilation, climate control or increased privacy.

In the Texas climate, motorized patio screens are usually manufactured with insect mesh. These insect screens, or “bug screens,” are ideal where mosquitos are an issue, and they also reduce up to 55% of UV. With a higher openness factor, they allow for more ventilation and visibility to the outside. Solar screens, on the other hand, will reduce heat and glare by up to 75%, creating even more shade and UV protection, but with less airflow and visibility.

STYLE OPTIONS

Choose one of Phantom’s nine signature colors for the aluminum tracks, housing, and slidebar of your motorized screens, or custom match the screen’s frame to your home. All we need from you for a custom color match is a color swatch! Decorative wood grain finishes are also available.
