Draperies for the Modern, Minimalist High-Rise

High-rise living offers Houston residents many perks, not the least of which is often a gorgeous view of the city they love. The Belfiore, a new luxurious 26-story high-rise building in the posh Uptown Park area, is no exception with its stunning 360-degree views of the Houston skyline. Each unit of the Belfiore features floor-to-ceiling windows and many of its new residents have turned to The Shade Shop for window treatments that will help block the light and heat without sacrificing their view.

In this enviable unit featured in Houston House & Home magazine, interior designer Anne Breux selected our motorized solar screens to give the residents relief from the direct light and harsh sun, while maintaining clean lines to complement the exquisite minimalist décor. Her selection of blackout draperies for the master bedroom allow the retired owners to sleep in far past sunrise, while softening the ambiance with a gorgeous, peaceful fabric choice.
